Findings from the Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey (PH WINS), conducted between September 2021 and January 2022 by the de Beaumont Foundation and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, reflect high levels of stress, burnout, harassment, mental distress, and intent to leave among members of the state and local governmental public health workforce.
